​Mission

Uplift Ministry desires to see urban boys, ages 11-18, enter into a personal relationship with Jesus, and to grow in that relationship so that they, also, may be an instrument that God uses to draw other young people to Christ.  We use an eight week long summer camp, sports, and urban youth leadership training to impact inner-city boys for Christ. Our theme verse comes from John 12:32 - “But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself."

Kenny Cash has been involved in inner-city ministry for over 25 years. Having lived in the nation’s first housing project as a boy, Kenny has been drawn by those experiences, and the call of God, to share the gospel with young boys who, many times, come from dysfunctional family situations.  Kenny is married to his wife, JoAnne, and they have four daughters and three sons-in-law.
